Acomplia

Acomplia (rimonabant) is a cannabinoid receptor antagonist that blocks certain receptors in the brain reducing food cravings in people diagnosed with obesity. Therefore, the patients are able to do with less food and lose weight provided that they combine Acomplia with a healthy diet and exercise. Although Acomplia is very well tolerated by most patients taking it, sometimes the following side effects can be reported, especially by patients taking this medicine for a long time: tendon inflammation, back pain, excessive sweating, anxiety, itching, muscle cramps, nausea, memory loss, falling, diarrhea, fatigue, upset stomach, upper respiratory tract infections, bruising, dizziness, hot flushes, vomiting, depression, or irritability. These side effects in most cases tend to go away and do not require the attention of your doctor, but if they persist or start to interfere with your everyday life, make sure you report them directly to your health care provider to avoid complications.
